Gaislachkogl Gondola

Giggijoch Gondola

In operation since the 2016/2017 winter season, the world’s highest-performance lift railway has been transporting 4,500 sports enthusiasts an hour from the valley to the mountain. Based on the modern architecture of the ice Q, the Giggijochbahn impresses with its design and comfort, as well as its performance.

Rettenbach Restaurant

The winter season 2017/18 is the starting signal for the new mountain restaurant on the Rettenbach glacier: another gastronomic highlight at 2,600 m. As well as the established self-service restaurant, there is now also a splendid sun terrace with service and a bar made of ice with a mobile roof.

BIG3

Austria's only ski resort which has opened up three mountains higher than three thousand meters with state-of-the-art mountain gondola lifts. Gaislachkogl (3058 m), Tiefenbachkogl (3250 m) and Schwarze Schneid (3340 m) symbolize the special "BIG 3" experience on skis or on foot.

Glacier Road

The highest panoramic road of the Eastern Alps leads from Sölden up to Rettenbach Glacier and through the Rosi-Mittermeier tunnel further on to Tiefenbach Glacier. he winding Ötztal Glacier Road served as a film shooting location for the James Bond blockbuster "Spectre".
